Farming for the Future Conference & Workshops - TRENT University September 2006
Jun 16, 2006 at 01:47 PM
Biogas and related technologies are opening a new era for agriculture, where farmers can grow fuel (energy) as well as food.

As a result, farmers will be able to:

• stabilize farm income
• produce renewable energy in the form of heat, electricity, and fuel alcohol
• develop unrealized agricultural resources
• help foster rural development
• provide cornerstone contributions to creating sustainable communities

The "Farming for the Future" conference & workshop will discuss and examine these technologies and the opportunities they provide.

The Canadian Biogas Association is organizer and the workshop will be hosted by the Trent University Food and Agricultural Group in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada from Friday September 15 to Sunday September 17, 2006.

We are currently looking for papers/moderators/volunteers.

Current documents online are:

- Registration Information, which can be downloaded here

All abstracts and submissions received will be published as part of the workshop proceedings.
moderators, contributors and presenters are exempt from registration fees.
