"To actively foster and promote competent verifiable biogas technology
and its potential to provide a renewable and sustainable energy fuel
source, proactive reductions of GHG emissions and balanced nutrient
recycling within an ecologically and environmentally sound framework".
The Mission Statement explained...
Biogas
is formed everytime organic material "decomposes" under anaerobic
conditions. Depending on the decomposing material the gas will contain
anywhere between 50 and 75 percent methane. We know Methane quite well
under the name "Natural Gas".
Ergo - here is a perfectly natural process that produces a very important fuel.
