The AgSTAR Program is a voluntary effort jointly sponsored by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the U.S. Department of
Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Energy. The program encourages
the use of methane recovery (biogas) technologies at the confined
animal feeding operations that manage manure as liquids or slurries.
These technologies reduce methane emissions while achieving other
environmental benefits.
Carbon Counting - determining just how many emissions are created along the way by an activity, product, process or service is the first step in understanding our footprints.
European bioenergy networks - EUBIONET is the result of the integration
of AFBnet (Solid biofuels), Waste for Energy (Biogas) and NTB (Liquid
biofuels) by the European Commission to promote the utilisation of
bioenergy in Europe.
