The objective of this research is to review how biodigesters can be used to potentially reduce SaskPower's GHG output.
This project will deal exlusively with the application of biodigesters
in Saskatchewan. This entails environmental, climatic and market
features specific to this province. The boundaries of evaluating the
application of biodigesters are defined by the limit of SaskPower's
electrical jurisdiction. However, the study could be used as a template
for future studies of bio-digestion application in other jurisdictions.
